Craig Miller has a national reputation as a trusted Engineering-based Cost Segregation tax advisor in the commercial real estate industry.  Mr. Miller is a CPA, and he holds a very special designation as a "Certified Cost Segregation Professional" through the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals.  In the very complex and ever-changing Tax Code, CPA Firms, Tax Professionals, and real estate developers and owners small and large achieve success through Mr. Miller’s real estate and tax knowledge and expertise. Mr. Miller has over three decades of excellence in the accounting and finance sectors, and his company has been conducting Cost Segregation consulting engagements nationally since 2002.  

Mr. Miller has been featured in Forbes Magazine, Fortune Magazine, and will be featured in Time Magazine as a Top Specialty Tax Professional in 2026. Mr. Miller was inducted into the Real Estate Journals and Midwest News Hall of Fame and was named Member of the Year by the Northern Ohio chapter of NAIOP.  

Mr. Miller has served on the State of Ohio Board of Directors of NAIOP Commercial Real Estate and the U.S. Green Building Council in Ohio.  Miller served 2 terms on NAIOP Tax and Finance Subcommittee in Washington DC, and he is currently serving on the NAIOP Government Affairs Subcommittee.   Mr. Miller has been with Duffy + Duffy since 2007. Prior to his career in Cost Segregation, Miller was a Tax Commissioner Agent for the State of Ohio, a Chief Deputy Auditor, a Director of Public Service, Director of Public Safety, and an Adjunct Faculty Instructor of Accounting and Finance at Cleveland State University and at Lorain County Community College. He joined Duffy+Duffy as a Project Manager, in 2011 was promoted to Vice-President, and in 2015 promoted to President. Miller also became Managing Partner in 2019.

Mr. Miller is a CPA, a Certified Member of The American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals (ASCSP), a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM - inactive). He is a member of American Institute of CPAs, NAIOP Commercial Real Estate, Ohio Society of CPAs, Michigan Institute of CPAs, U.S. Green Building Council American Institute of Architects, and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).   In addition to his expertise in Cost Segregation , Miller and his team of engineers have certified numerous Energy Policy Act Sec. 179D energy reduction certifications that have resulted in millions of dollars in income tax deductions.   He has served on municipal planning and zoning boards, a tax incentive review committee, a historic preservation district design review board, and on an Ohio School Facilities Commission bond issue oversight committee.
